Leaked Press Pictures of Motorola i465

Motorola has certainly been floundering due to the global financial crises of late. That being said, it has still managed to come up with its iDEN phone that has a full QWERTY keyboard. Press release pictures of this phone have conveniently appeared online, so you’ll probably want to take a good look at the device. Specifications are nothing to shout about with a VGA camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and of course, iDEN PTT

Nokia E55 In Red Spotted

Nokia E55 In Red Spotted

When Nokia E55 was announced, users were only offered the black or white color options, but if this latest leak is anything more than a good Photoshop job, then we’ll probably be seeing a red color version of the E55 sometime. The color used here helps the E55 join the group of phones such as Nokia’s E71, E75 and E63 which have similar color offerings. The device should be going for 265 Euros, though there isn’t any mention of whether it will be sold at the same time as the black and white versions.

Yuhua Xphone SDK Appears

You might remember the DSTL1 from General Mobile that we reported on a few weeks back. Well, that phone was designed by the Chinese firm Yuhua, and now they’re back at it with another Android-powered device, the Xphone-SDK. The little bit of bad news is that there doesn’t seem to be a distributor lined up for this phone, and the RAM has been dropped to 128MB and 256MB of ROM. You’ll only have EDGE to handle your emails, though a 3G model is promised further down the road.

LG 830 Spyder Pulled

LG 830 Spyder Pulled

Sure, LG 830 Spyder has a stylish looking exterior, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t without its problems. LG will be pulling about 30,000 of said handsets, as they are supposedly having problems with it. Specifically, reports indicate that the phone made really bad quality calls to emergency 911 and even trouble holding a connection to 911. The phones that are deemed to have the faulty software version are on T83LGV03 and T83LGV04 of the firmware, so you’ll certainly want to check out if your phone is affected.

New Samsung Armani Phone with Windows Mobile 6.5 on-board

Samsung and Armani will be coming up with a new fashion phone soon, and the OS of choice for this phone is none other than the recently announced Windows Mobile 6.5. The phone will supposedly be available this fall, and hopefully this latest incarnation of a Samsung Armani phone will fare better than the previous Samsung Armani phones. Would you get this phone if you were a fashion junkie? Drop us a comment to let us know what you think.

New Motorola ZARK LUK Phone Leaked

New Motorola ZARK LUK Phone Leaked

Motorola looks like it isn’t ever going to give up its RAZR line up. The RAZR LúK looks similar to the original RAZR, though this latest luxury 3G handset has a keypad that is plated with 18k gold and sports a pearl white exterior and HSDPA connectivity to help you with your Internet duties. Nothing innovative here, which is rather disappointing. Hopefully Motorola will be able to come up with something that will be really revolutionary, if it wants to save itself anyways.

Lenovo i60 and i60s Phones Coming Soon

Lenovo’s new i60 and i60s cell phones sure look very sleek’n’shiny and stylish, but are they worth a purchase. Let’s see:

The i60 (pictured left) is a dual-band phone with a nice 3″ WQVGA display, support for up to 16GB of memory, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The i60s on the other hand has a smaller 2.8″ WQVGA display, and ofers dual-band GSM support, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and some other stuff, which we don’t know about atm.

The specifications are very scarce, and we don’t even know what OS the phones will use. Anyway, these two won’t appear Stateside, so many of you have probably stopped caring just now.

Luxury Apple iPhone

Luxury Apple iPhone

Global economic crisis? There’s no such thing, it’s just an illusion. Why else would anybody else want a $2.5 million iPhone? Sure, it has gold, diamonds and more diamonds, not to mention the huge diamond at where the home screen should be. The mod is even called the “Kings Button”, perhaps indicating that you’ll need to be amongst royalty in order to be able to afford such a phone. It’s not too likely that we’ll see somebody whip this out in public, but if somebody does, they’d better do it with plenty of security personnel around.

Nokia 5800 Will Available On Feb 26

Folks eager to get Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be happy to hear that the handset should be hitting retailers on February 26th, though we’ll probably need to wait a few more days before they start selling it. The little bad of bad news though, is that the selling price is set at $399, which is a tad higher than the initial $360 that was mentioned when the phone was announced. With the rumors of the N97 being delayed, you might want to consider the 5800 as an alternative.

Rumor: Firefox Coming To HTC Touch Pro

Rumor Firefox Coming To HTC Touch Pro

Firefox fans out there (who own a HTC Touch Pro anyways) can rejoice, as Mozilla has announced the first milestone release for Fennec, which is as we all know, the mobile version of Firefox. As we mentioned, the current build that they’re offering for download only supports HTC’s Touch Pro at the moment, so you’re out of luck if you’re using another phone. Hopefully this milestone release will help Mozilla get useful feedback on the browser and help them turn it into the final product sooner rather than later.

HTC Dream Coming To Spain Via Telefonica
Folks in Spain looking to get hold of an Android-powered device will be happy to hear that Telefonica will be offering the Android-powered handset, and it will be called the Dream. The phone seems to have gone through a minor facelift, as you can clearly see that the buttons at the bottom are different from the usual T-Mobile G1. The phone will be going for something between €0 and €199 depending on the plan you decide to pick.

iPhone Wants To Appear On China

iPhone Wants To Appear On China

Ever wonder how hard it would be to get Apple’s iPhone to sell in China? Aside from all the obvious iPhone-clones out there, it isn’t an easy job trying to convince China Mobile to support the device, and details on the negotiations have (somehow) managed to find its way online. Apparently, Steve Jobs and Tim cook had problems agreeing on Apple’s request that China Mobile share 20%-30% of their monthly iPhone revenues. China Mobile was also reluctant to meet Apple’s demand of $600 per iPhone. After all has been said and done, even if the iPhone does make it safely into China, there is another issue of getting the App Store up, as China Mobile sees it as competition to China’s mobile internet industry. Fortuantely we’re not in charge of distributing Apple iPhones.
