iPhone Prototype Spotted On eBay

Posted by arm On March - 2 - 2009

We’re all fond of prototypes are they’re often quite cool, seeing that not many people have them. It seems that a couple of iPhone prototypes have found their way to eBay, and it’s clocking up a fair number of bids. As it’s a prototype, it has many flaws, mainly in terms of features. While you’re able to initiate and receive calls, there aren’t many other features within this prototype aside from the ability to receive text messages. Of course, if you’re flush enough to buy this, it’s certainly more for collection than actual use. That being said, the bidding for the device has topped $2,400 at time of writing, so it remains to be seen how much people will be willing to part with for this prototype of Apple’s iPhone.
