Nokia is approaching for NFC (Near field communication) tech in mobiles, hard. It wants to obtain you offhandedly swiping your phone above a recompense point, Oyster card style, to wirelessly disburse for train journeys, snacks and more, and currently it says the kit will be normal by the moment 2012.

According to Mobile Magazine, Nokia Industry Collaborations vice president Mark Selby has predicted that NFC devices will be the norm by 2012. “Our plan is to see NFC in lots of devices, not just smartphones,” he whispered.
As part of that squash, Nokia will instigate the gear athwart an array of its handsets the moment next year, a basis told the magazine. “In Q3 and Q4 of next year we will see Nokia going into NFC in a big way. They will be bringing forward a lot of phones with embedded NFC,” the source alleged.
