The Nexus One had the HTC codename Desire, which we exposed was the same hardware as the Bravo. So the Bravo, which also cartons a 3.7″ AMOLED screen, 1GHz Snapdragon processing power, and Android 2.1 will be revealed at Mobile World Congress this weekend, possibly at a much more cheaper than the Nexus One.
To make things poorer for the Nexus One, the Bravo also has a pair of traits that Google’s own handset doesn’t. Initially, HTC’s much-commended Sense UI has been updated to Android 2.1, and likely takes benefit of the visuals power of the Bravo gorgeously. Second, the tri-color scroll ball of the Nexus One has been swapped with newer technology: an optical scrolling sensor, as found on new Blackberry models, the Motorola Devour, and the upcoming HTC Legend. Extra slight developments comprise dual LED flash (vs. the single of the Nexus One), and hard buttons for handset functions.
