It seems like that Microsoft is going to make their new Windows 7 series handsets, the first choice of office people along with students. There is no official note from Microsoft but few experts have somehow managed to take a glimpse at the new office applications in Windows 7 series. Most commonly used and very much needed Word, Excel and OneNote are now available in this gadget. While looking at its compatibility with smartphones, the company hasn’t changed the familiar user interface of these applications. The new version of the applications looks really useful so we can expect higher from the later versions of the same. Microsoft didn’t forget to mention that these applications are only for small editing purpose and big tasks like copy-paste are little bit tougher to carry out in it. If you always edit or change few figures from your worksheet while on the way to your office then you will definitely love these applications.
We actually haven’t seen any official shots of the Office apps for Windows Phone 7 Series, but now that Microsoft’s emulator has been hacked and unlocked, we’ve got a glimpse of what creating a Word doc in OneNote looks like — and while there’s a high probability that this a super-early version of the app, it’s still revealing in how drastically minimal it is. Microsoft says most people just want to make minor edits and leave comments to Office docs while on the go, not make large edits with copy and paste, so we’d expect to see track changes in the final version, but something tells us the main interface isn’t going to look tremendously different than this. One more shot and the video with Word after the break — hit the source for the second vid with Excel.
