The specifications of Nokia’s latest model of X series Nokia X5 have leaked ahead of its launch. It has got a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash and Carl Zeiss optics. However, no details on the price of the handset have been provided as of now.
It will be presented in quad-band GSM and tri-band WCDMA editions. It will offer an internal memory of 70MB internal memory which can be expanded to 8GB microSD card.
Its camera is capable of recording VGA quality videos at a resolution of 15 frames per second. No details have been provided on the operating system to be used in the phone. Therefore, it cannot really be affirmed whether it will be loaded with Symbian S60v5 Symbian^3.
There are speculations rising on Nokia’s plans of launching a whole new range of X5 phones just like the X3 and X6 ones. X5 has also got a touchscreen which enables it in competing with other similar devices.
The device will be equipped with HSPA-based 3G networks support along with Bluetooth feature. The release dates have not been announced yet.
