Two years have passed since AT&T and Pantech launched the first Breeze mobile phones and now here’s finally a follow-up for the handset. We’re talking about the Pantech breEZe II, pictured below and detailed after the break. Though all eyes were likely on the Palm Pre Plus dummy units that shipped in the same box, the Pantech Breeze II clamshell phone is worth a look – and as of today, it’s available at AT&T.
The new phone comes with an external display, 3G, Stereo Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera and a microSD card slot(up to 32GB), 80MB of internal memory. On the outside of the device you’ll find external LED “notifiers”, plus 3 EZ One-Touch Quick-Call keys and a large keypad. Pantech breEZe II also incorporates GPS, a 2.2-inch 320 x 240 QVGA internal display and and supports GSM/GPRS (850/900/1800/900 MHz) connectivity. It’s meant to be popular among senior users.
