This is becqause, the same citizens behind the Halo franchise and the same growth staff work on this, making this fundamentally, the Xbox 360 portable. Microsoft has revealed that it has sold more than 1.5 million Windows Phone 7 devicesthat can play Xbox 360 games and are compatible with Xbox Live.
There are previously 5500 apps in its marketplace although only a fraction of these (around 60) are Xbox Live-capable games. The problem is that many game developers have yet to commit to the platform at a time where iOS is the dominating one and Android likely to be the second best. Besides, the first generation Windows Phone 7 platform is not powerful enough to handle the demanding graphics of say, Infinity Blade. The news come as the Xperia Play – the first true Android gaming gadget – is set to be launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
