LG Optimus 3D P920 Review

LG Electronics is the world’s great maker of Television sets and third-largest producer of mobile handsets has just now proclaimed its latest touchscreen smartphone LG Optimus 3D P920, which runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS and shortly will be updated to Android 2.3. The latest LG Optimus 3D P920 smartphone runs on Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, horse power dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, Dual-memory with PowerVR SGX540 GPU, HDMI 1.4 port, packed with Wifi  802.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, Bluetooth, 512 MB RAM, GPS with A-GPS support, with Digital Compass and micro USB 2.0 and HDMI 1.4 port.

Sustaining Touch-sensitive controls, Optimus 3D P920 is armed with 4.3 inches 3D LCD capacitive, with 480 x 800 pixels resolution, Dual 5 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, share 3D content, Capable to playback 1080p video at 24fps for 2D & 720p at30fps for 3D, 10.1 Flash and HTML browser Support, with 32GB micro SD memory card slot, 8GB internal memory, Gyro, Accelerometer and Proximity sensors. LG Optimus 3D P920 smartphone weights 168 grams and measures 128.8 x 68 x 11.9 mm is going to strike the market in the second quarter of 2011. Discontentedly, the business did not disclose any information about the price tag of its new LG Optimus 3D P920 smartphone.

R Com And Facebook Rolls Out New FB Mobile App

Reliance users in India have a reason to rejoice. Reliance Communication (R Com) and social network site Facebook have declaredlaunching of a new Facebook mobile application for Reliance users in the country for a period of 3 months. With the help of this mobile application, Reliance users can access their FB account with their current phones without the need for updating them to a smartphone. The offer will be provided by R Com for free for 3 months without any charges. Commenting on the mobile app, Prashant Gokarn, 3G Business Head of Reliance Communication said that the venture by FB and R Com will help in exploring the power of social networking in India and will allow Reliance users to access FB from all the well known cell phones available in the country.

Meanwhile R Com has said that with the help of the mobile app, users can get smartphone like feel on their feature phone and the app has been fabricated for speed and performance on the network of Reliance Communication. With the help of the application users can view photos on their cell phone and carry out several things pertaining to FB. It is to be noted that feature phones still play a dominant role in the Indian mobile phone market despite increase in penetration of the smartphones. Coming out of the FB mobile application could not have been better considering the rise in trend of accessing social networks via mobile phones.
