LG E720 Android Handset Leaked

Posted by arm On August - 30 - 2010

I have been hearing a lot about the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and it could be the coolest thing to happen to an Android phone for a while. There has been a leak of a mobile handset that also runs Android OS, but we don’t have much on this.

This is the LG E720, and it appeared on a Polish site last weekend, and it has a 3.2 inch display. We believe that it has an MSM 7227 core as well as a 5 Megapixel camera.

There has been a rumor that this could be running Android 3.0 by the end of this year, if it would come out.

We’ll have more on this smartphone as it develops.

White iPhone 4 Unboxing (Video)

Posted by arm On August - 23 - 2010

The video looks authentic and it looks like an iPhone actually MADE my Apple, not some DIY white iPhone 4 thing. For instance the flash on this device looks legit, with its silver border. The silver border didn’t look like this on the DIY white covers for the iPhone 4.

T-mobile G2 out in the wild again

Posted by arm On August - 22 - 2010

Earlier this week a T-Mobile G2 mini site was launched. The G2 is a step up from the G1 and brings a list of improved features such as a faster processor, more memory, better screen and an updated Android OS. Another feature is that it will be compatible with HSPA+ networks allowing it to receive and send data at 4G speeds on the T-Mobile network.

The new smartphone is expected to have a 3.7 inch screen and also have a sliding QWERTY keyboard as pictures above. One thing we noticed when compared to the G1 is that a row of keys is missing with the QWERTY being the top row with numbers on the shift key.

A design feature sees the chin dropping on the G2. We are unsure why the screen is raised in the picture, but from what we have heard, it doesn’t tilt. Perhaps the G2 opens outwards in an arc rather than the upwards swing of the original.

We’ll continue to watch this one.

Teevox is an app for the iPhone that lets you remotely control video content from Hulu and Netflix on your computer.

The app (demonstrated below), interfaces directly with Hulu and Netflix and lets you easily control your computer by pausing, playing and switching between movies. Volume controls are also included.

As well as controlling the two video services, the iPhone app also lets you use Twitter and Facebook connect so that you can start using the remote control app straight away.

An iPad version of the software is expected to launch soon along with another version of the software (not named, but perhaps Android). Check out the video below to see it all in action.
