It boasts a 16GB solid state hard drive, with another 32GB of storage available via SDHC card. There’s an HDMI connection for running movies to your TV, Bluetooth and N Wi-Fi for speedy web browsing and app downloads from Android Market. Unlike the iPad the Folio 100 runs Flash 10.1, letting you access all the videos on the net, and sports a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video confc’ccing. With a 3G version on the way, the Folio 100 is proof that there’s more to tablets than the iPad.

As stated momentarily on the Mobile World Congress live blog, Toshiba has singled out two latest phones – the TG02 and K01.
This time last year, Tosh proclaimed its entry into the mainstream smartphone space with the TG01], a WinMo-toting touchscreen that stared the part, but botched to press the right buttons owing to an unresponsive resistive screen.
That’s been permanent in the TG02, which still has 4.1in of screen real estate, but backs it up with full capacitive touch action and a fresh WinMo 6.5 UI skin running on 1GHz guts inside that trim sub-10mm body.
Whilst that’s designed at movie buffs and webheads, the K01 (pictured) lets your fingers do the walking on its slide-out QWERTY keyboard although you watch its 4.1in OLED capacitive touchscreen.
That screen tech should translate into vivid colours, deep blacks and longer battery life, too, but we’ll reserve our judgement for a review closer the free time.

O2 UK may have smartphones like the iPhone 3G S and the Palm Pre, but Orange has got exclusivity on one of the coolest Windows Mobile handsets out there: the Toshiba TG01.

Orange announced that it will offer the TG01 across the UK starting tomorrow, July 10, for free on select plans.

Orange’s Toshiba TG01 comes with an 8GB MicroSD card, and it’s pre-loaded with a “GI Joe” trailer, which should make good use of the phone’s 4.1 inch WVGA display and its 1GHz Snapdragon chipset.

Part of Orange’s Signature Series, Toshiba TG01 features quick links and shortcuts to Orange TV & Video, Orange Maps and Orange World.

Naturally, the 9.9mm-thin handset also has all those specs that we’ve presented many times until now: HSDPA connectivity, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.2MP autofocus camera and so on.
