Brown Colored G1 Found

While there have been plenty of pictures with regards to the G1, especially today, none of those actually show the G1 in its third color – brown. We’ve managed to dig out a picture of the G1 in brown, and from the picture, it obviously isn’t using the same type of brown like Microsoft’s Zune.

Someone from Esato claimed that the next the XPERIA would be an excellent way of making the original handset into a lower end device, accessible for people with less cash and tech know-how. A mid-end XPERIA would surely blow the competition away, but would it canibalize the sales of the original handset?

T-Mobile today announced the launch of the world’s first Android-powered mobile phone in partnership with Google. Available soon for T-Mobile customers spanning two continents, the T-Mobile G1 combines full touch-screen functionality and a QWERTY keyboard with a mobile Web experience that includes the Google Maps Street View, Gmail, YouTube and others.

While the rumor October 2nd launch date is coming, mobil.idnes.cz has got a fresh Nokia 5800 XpressMedia in red. According to the source, it again confirm that Nokia will be announcing the full touch screen phone on October 2nd in London and will be available in by early next year or by the end of this year.

The website also revealed more info on the Nokia 5800 XpressMedia. The phone will feature a 3.2-inch touch screen with 640 x 360 resolution, 3.2 megapixel camera, VGA video recording, bluetooth, built in WiFi, GPS and support GSM Quadband network. With a size of 111 x 52 x 15.5 mm, the phone will be powered by a Symbian S60 Taco 5.0 OS. It will only have a 150 MB internal memory, though, you can easily expand it with the microSD card slot.

Seems that HTC is doing to smartphones what ASUS is doing to its Eee PC notebook series… Basically, the company’s invading the market by announcing new handsets each week.

We’ve got the old Touch dying, as the Touch Diamond rules and arrived on Sprint, the Touch Pro is already hands on material, while the S740 makes us drool and there’s ton of hype surrounding the HTC Dream.

From Apple iPhone to HTC Touch and Samsung Omnia, it is not surprise that more manufacturer will release their full touch screen phone. Asus is said to be preparing their new Asus Glaxy7, a new Windows Mobile smartphone with a 3.5-inch touch screen. Comes with their own Glide UI, Asus Glaxy7 has the same resolution (480 x 800, WVGA) as HTC Touch HD, though both will still be restricted to 65k colors due to the OS. Other than 6 shortcut buttons below the display screen, a track ball design can be seen from the leaked picture below.

The Asus Glaxy7 might be announced in October according to the source.
